Refund Policy

Overview
The Roman Catholic Bishop of Fall River is committed to ensuring satisfaction with our programs and services. This policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be issued.
30-Day Refund Period
We offer a 30-day refund period for eligible payments. Requests must be submitted within 30 days of the original payment date to qualify for a full refund.
Eligible for Refund
- Program registration fees (if requested before the program begins)
- Event registration fees (if requested at least 7 days before the event)
- Retreat fees (if requested at least 14 days before the retreat)
- Educational course fees (if requested before the second session)
- Duplicate or erroneous payments
Not Eligible for Refund
- Donations (unless made in error)
- Sacramental preparation fees after preparation has begun
- Event registrations requested less than 7 days before the event
- No-shows without prior notification
- Payments for materials already distributed
Event Cancellations
If we cancel a program or event, all registered participants will receive a full refund. Alternatively, participants may apply their payment to a rescheduled event or another program.
How to Request a Refund
- Contact our parish office by phone or email
- Provide your name, program/event name, date and amount of payment
- Explain the reason for your refund request
- Include any relevant documentation
We will respond within 5-7 business days. Approved refunds will be processed within 10-14 business days.
Special Circumstances
We understand that unexpected circumstances arise. If you are facing hardship or other extenuating circumstances, please contact us. We will work with you compassionately to find a fair resolution.
